For his capstone COMM project at UNC Chapel Hill, NC, Graduate,Filmmaker and 1st A.D.,

Nykolas Zollbrecht documented filmmaker and producer Paula Lauzon.

Angling part of his documentary on the fact that she seems to almost always take on more than she can handle, he wanted to understand why she overworks herself and if this has anything to do with her upbringing in terms of her wanting to work hard like her parents did, while also wanting to have a sense of familiarity, which she never felt while being around her parents and other people that she was related to.

Nykolas wants this project to be a portrait of a person named Paula Lauzon who has worked tirelessly to build up a personality and a reputation in the film community despite her mental health issues and other physical ailments and as someone who is also able to successfully run a film company, HarLau Productions, while keeping in her mind her unfortunate childhood.
